After Harald had ruled for several years, his sister, Gunhilda fled to him from Norway, because her husband Erik Bloodaxe, the Norwegian King of Scandinavia died. After some time had passed Harald decided to take over Norway for himself, but he made the decision to own only a part of Norway.
