Denmark is where Harald Bluetooth lived when he was king, it was also his homeland.
Denmark is mostly located in a Peninsula joined to the mainland in Europe, it lies between Norway, Sweden and Germany (as shown on the map to the left). It is much smaller than all the other countries in Scandinavia including: Sweden, Norway and Finland. Due to Harald Bluetooth taking charge of a part of Sweden, the Southern tip of Sweden is Danish territory (this is not shown on the map to the left).
Denmark has the mildest climate of Scandinavia, it is the most suitable for farming and living. It contains a very flat terrain, a rich farmland along the coast of Denmark and on the coast of its Islands, however there are parts of the Peninsular too sandy to farm on. Denmark has dense woods, good for making longships.
